The goal is to introduce "green SMBs" and "green startups," support the expansion of business relationships, promote the role of SMEs in the "green economy," and increase the number of "green SMBs”.
The 29th International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition ("Caspian Oil and Gas") and the 12th Caspian International Energy and Green Energy Exhibition ("Caspian Power") launched at the Baku Expo Center on June 4th within the framework of the Baku Energy Week.
At the current exhibition, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBİA) participate with the "green SMB" concept. The "green projects" of SMBs and startups are showcased at the stand created with the support of KOBİA.
Approximately, 10 SMBs showcase a range of devices and equipment related to alternative and renewable energy, environmental impact assessment, hazardous waste management and disposal, and smart irrigation systems at the stand. Additionally, services in these areas are being offered. The goal is to introduce local "green SMBs" and startups, along with their "green projects," to a wide audience ahead of the "Green World Solidarity Year" declared in our country and in anticipation of prestigious events like COP29, which Azerbaijan will host this year.
During the exhibition, local and foreign companies, along with other interested parties, can visit KOBİA's stand to engage with "green SMBs" and explore potential collaboration opportunities.
It’s worth noting that the “Caspian Oil and Gas” and “Caspian Power” exhibitions will last until June 6. The exhibitions feature products and services from 300 companies representing 37 countries.
