The document envisages the creation of Qatari franchises in Azerbaijan, the expansion of trade relations between the business communities of the two countries as well as the development of potential cooperation opportunities.
The agreement on the strategic partnership was signed between “Green Capital Management”, a company founded by Azerbaijani entrepreneurs in the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar's Al Baladi Holding with the support of the Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA).
The document, signed in Baku within the framework of event "Qatar for the Whole World," stipulates the creation of Qatari franchises in Azerbaijan and also includes the expansion of trade relations between the business communities of the two countries, the development of potential cooperation opportunities, investment as well as the promotion of joint projects.
At the event, the Executive Director of "Al Baladi Holding," Mr. Hany Al Sayyadi, the Chairman of the Board of KOBİA, Orkhan Mammadov, and the Counselor of the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Qatar, Mr. Eldeniz Musayev, highlighted that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and Qatar and they emphasized that economic and business relations between our countries are steadily improving.
It was noted that both countries are interested in expanding trade and economic relations, and the document signed today will further strengthen relationships in this direction.
It is worth noting that Azerbaijani products are in demand in the Qatari market, and Qatari investors are increasingly interested in our country.
A positive impact on this is also due to the putting into operation the Azerbaijani trade house in Doha in 2022.
Over the past four months, more than 400 tons of fruits and vegetables have been exported from our country by the Azerbaijani trade house in Doha.
The trade house contributes to the promotion of Azerbaijani products and services, as well as informing Qatari entrepreneurs about Azerbaijan's economic and trade potential.
